Ecolene is an exclusive recyclable material (polyethylene synthetic rattan) which has been developed to meet all the specifications required for all UK conditions - both for indoor and outdoor use. The latest extrusion technology has been used to design and create a synthetic woven fibre that is more durable, more natural looking & more natural feeling, less sensitive to temperature differences, and 100% free from cracking, peeling, splintering and corrosion.

Ecolene is the only synthetic wicker which can withstand UV radiation (300-340nm wave length), 40 degree plus heat, below zero cold, direct sunlight, oxidation, rain & snow, high moisture, and mold & mildew. Ecolene contains no heavy metals or toxins, is recyclable, and most importantly is pure nature. Best of all Ecolene will still look exactly the same in 10 years time - even outdoors.
